well, if you want to have straight hair, try blow drying it straight after taking a shower. it really decreases frizziness!!! Good luck and God bless you!!!

well the first thing i thought of when i read your question was that your hair will be more frizzy with layers than if it were all one length or long layers. I would first suggest growing it out and perhaps going with a different style.
Then you can look at products on the market. I personally only use salon products. I have tried those from the store and I don't get as good of results as when I use salon products. A beautician should be able to give you a much better idea of what you need for your hair based on your hair type,texture,color,etc...
Good luck.

I have a friend that has the same problem. I found a product for using when your blow drying , straightening or curling its called Hask straightening solution, you can get it at Sally's , she gets up early so she usually just sticks her head under the sink puts some of that in and goes. My friend loves it and swears she has never found anything better, and believe me she has frizzy curly hair!!!! this stuff turns it soft and manageable. I use it for straightening my hair as well and love it as well, leaves a great shine in your hair also!! it comes in a ugly yellow bottle in the hair products section, and you only need a minimal amount in your hair. Hope it works for you!

When it is wet I put a smoothing creme, any straigting creme will work as long as it says to control frizzes. Then I dry my hair (either with a blow dryer or naturally) when it is 100% dry I straigten it real quick, and then I curl it under with a fat curling iron.
I take my shower in the evening and put the creme in my hair prior to bed. In the AM I straigten and curl..I have very thick frizzy just past my shoulders. It takes about 15-20 minutes in the am to do my hair.
Hope that helps.

well... do you want to keep it curly or straiten it? if you want it curly i have found luck with "LA LOOKS" pink hair gel. After i wash and condition the heck out of my hair i brush it out with the assistance of "Johnson's" detaingler and apply the hair gel. i allow it to air dry and away i go. If you want it straight the ceramic iron is the way to go... but it takes some practice. Good Luck!
