How much room do you have? Do you have a yard? If you don't, do you have time to give the dog the exercise it needs? Huskies have a LOT of energy, as a general trait of the breed.

How are you with grooming? What about shedding? Huskies shed A LOT.

Do you want a dog that will learn tricks easily, or one that's a little more independent (or stubborn)?

There's a lot that goes into picking a dog other than "what looks cute". Dog breeds are NOT interchangable.

Go to dog breeds on google and do some research. Take out the time in order to make a right decision.

Different breeds are good for different people and different situations.

There is alot to consider: size, grooming, time, if you want a dog to carry with you, energy level, protection, cutesy, non-destructive, etc.

I think it depends on your lifestyle and how well the dog will fit in to your life--Big dogs CAN live in smaller spaces BUT it depends on the breed and how much exercise your willing to give it daily etc.. Check your local shelters they will be able to help you find the perfect dog for you and your family--BTW many purebred dogs are in shelters...
