That just means your cute dude, and you guys are gonna continue to be friends until you want to get serious, not her. She already knows what she wants. So if you really like her, just look her in the eyes and tell her: Hey (name) I think your a really beautiful girl, and I'm really attracted to you. I like everything about you, your personality, your smile, blah, blah, but most of all our friendship, so I want to take it a little bit further than that, how about we go out on a date. i would say that she thinks your cute! but it depends also in what way she says it...
if you're trying to come on to her and she says your cute she's probably just saying it cuz she's uncomfortable and has no idea what else to say.
if she just says it out of the blue then she probably thinks your cute and likes you but doesn't know how to bring it to that level so she's hinting around
