My sister got papers in the mail from the auto dealership she got her newest car through and the insurance company saying that her license has been suspended for 2 months but when she got pulled over the other day the officer let her off with a warning(she had been speeding). How is it that she just received notice of the suspension and why would the officer not tell her of this if it has been suspended for 2 months? We live in WA.

She needs to get to DMV quickly. The officer may not have had access to all the state records etc. If she has a suspended lic. next time they may catch it and she`ll possibly go to jail big time fines and have her car towed. Bad news.
