I'm seeing a GI doctor too but figured this site might help. And I'm getting too skinny!

Hi TJL. What has your doctor told you? What tests have been performed? Is this condition new or have you had it for a long time? Did it start suddenly or gradually? These are just some of the questions that can help guide the search for the cause of your condition.

My first thought when I read your question was 'Hiatal Hernia'. These are common and can easily cause the symptoms you describe. However, there are plenty of other possible causes - e.g. Celiac Disease, Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO), Autonomic Nervous System disorders, gallbladder or pancreatic dysfunction, etc. Hopefully your doctor can help you identify and treat the cause.

Best wishes and good luck.

I don't know much about it but maybe you could try just eating what you can. Try to incorporate as much protein and fruits and veggies. Nothing too filling. Lots of small meals will maybe help get you back on track?
