my girlfriend and I have decided that we would like to have 2 kids but also want to get married sooner rather than later, I want kids by the time I'm 25 and as for her sooner is better, she said that 18 or older which makes sense...
so my question is "at what age before 25 is it good to have kids?"

we live in Australia not america thankyou very much......so legal is 18 not 21.

I had my first baby at 21 and my husband and I plan on having at least 2 more children before I am 26...but 23 seems like a good number...

I am 21 years old and my husband is 23 our daughter is 2 years old. We are second to her in everything. Children are the most expensive thing that a person could own. Daycare alone is a mortgage payment! I think you should wait, our daughter was unexpected(don't believe in birth control). You both should find a point in your life when u have done everything that you wanted to do that does not include finding a night time babysitter. You need to change your age to a higher number because I have to work and go to school full time and it is no joy ride. A child needs lots of attention and so does a man and a women so step back and ask yourself if you got all your attention and the career for your children and wife?

you have kids when your ready. there's no age. i think you and your girlfriend should get married and try being husband and wife for at least 1 year and a half before you start trying to have children. a lot of marriages dont last because children come to soon. take your time being a couple first. also dont have kids if you dont have the financial means to take care of them.

she is a silly girl if she has kids while she is still a kid!!
25or 26 is a good time for male or female
& by the time they are 20 you will be only 46 which is really still young although you may think its as old as the hills

i say 23 it always seem to b a reasonable number
u hit 21 theres party drinks all that bein legal for you then 22 u can put ur life together save money etc.

Children are very expensive too.
I prefer over 30.
Your body and mind are not too old yet, you have much more control over your emotion, financial and have an idea what do you want in your life including children.

Any age AFTER you are married, educated and have a safe place to live.
