Yes, because we all know that Jesus would do whatever the person saying what he does is what he'd do.

Haha - in case you didn't get it... yes was to all that you said, and the rest of convoluted sentence represents how christians explaining their reasoning often sound to me.

Jesus and his early followers didn't seem to squelch anyone, They answered them. That's something contemporary could use a little more of.

Excellent query. I think our Lord and Savior is perfectly capable of expressing His opinions without using someone else's squelch button. One of my favorite expressions of His is ' oh, ye of little faith!' (much like the exasperated parents of Calvin ....... of Calvin and Hobbes fame..remember that cartoon?)
