Remember its well known that kittens are crazy, but from 14 weeks onwards you will notice her calming down. For the time being I always find that being patient helps. If she scratches then remove her from the sofa/ curtains and put her on the floor with a firm ''No.'' You might have to do it twenty times but they get the message. At just under a month old she never learnt from her brothers and sisters that scratching hurts either.

OMG! this sounds just like one of my cats. I have 2 cats and one of them keeps me up at night. I try to close the door so he can't come into my room while I'm sleeping, but he'll sit at the door scratching, eating the wooden door frame and tearing up the carpet. when i do let him in he plays with the blinds non-stop. banging them with his paws and then when i try to stop him he takes off running, like a game. if you get an answer on how to stop this please share. I'd like a full 8 hours of sleep.

We had the same problem and I think cats want our undivided attention. The way we got our cat to stop is playing with him A LOT before you go to sleep. And make sure they have plenty of food available. But then again all cats are different. Just try to pay extra special attention to your little guy before you hit the hay. Good luck!

if its blinds and not curtans just take the strings and wrap them around the top area of the blinds and the twirly thingie that opens them, you can take that off. and if he still plays with the blinds, get a spray bottle and fill it with water, make sure its only for the cat so you don't put anything but water in it just in case. then whenever he plays with the blinds spray him. and say no at the same time, cats are a lot smarter than most people give them credit for, they learn quick!

Well you know why he is clawing at your door so if you let him in get a spray bottle and Avery time he starts clawing at the blinds squirt him with the water and he will stop i hope for your sake.

ether anchor the curtains so they won't move or so there not in the cats reach or take them off. You won't get much sleep by not letting you cat into the room at night if its determined to.

This is what I do...
Take a giant bathmat and put it under the door.
Sleep with your blinds open or get curtains.
