ms office is a SOFTWARE.
windows is an OPERATING SYSTEM.

when you use the harddisk of current computer with another computer then the basic hardware configuration changes hence you need to reinstall or reactivate your operating system.. but it is not in the case of SOFTWARE..as SOFTWARE only carry outs the instructions to the OPERATING SYSTEM and not to the hardware..

conclusion.
you can install MS office in any harddisk and you can use it in another computer...

Hi. Yes, swapping a hard drive is really pretty easy. Only two cables and they only go in one way. If you PC is old, though, you may want to get a newer drive. They are getting cheap and they DO wear out.
