Usually symptoms of depression. Those include changes in eating and sleeping, more or less than usual; changes in weight, more or less than usual; feeling hopeless, worthless, or sad most days; not enjoying things you used to like; having less energy; and the symptoms last more than two weeks. If this sounds like you, please go see your doctor. Even if this isn't exactly how you feel, please go see your doctor. Depression can have very subtle symptoms, and your doctor can tell you if you need antidpressants.

There are many symptoms, many more than you would think. Its just not the normal sleeping all the time, overeating or not eating, anti-social, withdrawn...all those things are symptoms but it may also be things like being extemely happy one minute and extremely sad the next, sudden and unexpected mood swings, unusual appetite, sleeplessness or sleeping a lot. There are many more symptoms than you may think. If you think its possible that you may be depressed definitely seek medical advice because it can become a lot more serious than just suffering from not being able to talk about your problems. It can become physical.

Anti depressants are very serious. Maybe if you explain your condition to your doctor they will prescribe some for you. But, there are so many different conditions that there is no right or wrong answer to anything. Just talk to your family doctor about what you feel.
