There's no way to answer your question unless you define what you consider as important. Seat comfort? Cabin service? Price? Entertainment? Cleanliness? Award availability? On-time record? Country? Safety record? On and on and on....

My personal list:

Best domestic legacy - American - for number of flights, award availability, and elite benefits.

Worst domestic legacy - Northwest - OLD planes, poor seats, poor leg room, annoying award rules.

Best LCC - jetBlue - for IFE, snacks, pleasant FAs.

Best international airline - Cathay - them and Singapore are neck-and-neck, but Cathay wins because of the better connection point from the US to Asia (HKG).

Worst int'l airline (that I've flown on) - Lufthansa - they really screwed me over (long story), but I arrived home 10 hours later than I was supposed to, when I could have had other options had they told me when I boarded at the origin city. Instead, they had me fly to FRA and got me stranded there. EVA is a close 2nd.

(Note - Aeroflot is a Russian airline).

It depends what you are looking for as stated above, and where you are going.

Jet blue has free direct TV on the back of every seat!
and i would say continental is the best airline for long range flights.
American could be the 2nd best maybe.. i wouldnt really know though because ive only flown american and continental.

American airlines used to have these descusting bagged meals that everyone picks up before they boarded the aircraft for your lunch but i think they quit doing that and sell stuff now. which i guess is even dumber. I think american airlines has degraded in quality. but continental is still really good.

America West. Even in an industry rife with screwups, crummy service and dissembling, America West stands out as a paragon of badness. It ranks worst in customer complaints, worst in lost luggage, worst in cabin comfort and next-to-worst in on-time performance. It has one thing going for it: In denied boardings (bumping ticketed passengers because a flight is oversold), it is somewhat less bad than the average airline.

he FAA slammed it with a $5 million fine in 1998 for maintenance violations, the largest such fine ever levied. AmWest (nyse: AWA - news - people ) later paid a reduced amount ($2.5 million), settling charges that included flying 41,000 flights using 17 planes that were overdue for structural inspection.

The AmWest scrapbook includes some doozies. The carrier has stranded Bruce Babbitt and broken stewardesses' legs (in an onboard mishap). It has belittled a blind woman and engaged in behavior that some passengers deem to be racial profiling. In one incident of air rage the perpetrator was found to be an America West pilot, traveling off-duty.

I'd say Delta's the worst, unless you are either from Atlanta, or like to connect in Atlanta.

Singapore Airlines is generally considered to be the industry leader in service and quality.

Delta is the worst, and I have been on them all. Everything from their web page, to their employees attitudes ("you're luck to be flying us").

Even their first class isn't that great, the seats seem smaller and closer together than other airlines.

nicely I have 2 quite undesirable reviews that i visit't quite make a decision from which one is the worst. First. Flight became meant to be from Colombo->Dubai->London, yet the airline had screwed up their runway slots, forgot to rearrange a 2d plane so we had to board yet another flight by technique of an same airline and forgot to fill up the gasoline tank of the plane we were in!! subsequently we had to stop short of London and ended up in Rome. For twelve hours. No inn not something, they did not provide us any repayment. Then after twelve hours they prepared a flight with Ethiopian airways for us. A plane that for sure hadnt been as a lot as date internally for fifty years, it became filthy, stunk of smoke and had the most disgusting nutrients you may want to ever ought to struggle through. contained in the best we were given not something decrease back from that airline. Of which i will not in any respect be flying with back. absolutely not a lot a plane challenge, yet BA, London Heathrow, lost my luggage, that contained maximum each and every thing effectual that I have and they did not get despatched decrease back to me for 6 Months, or perhaps as they did arrive it became sparkling they might want to were left outdoors contained in the rain or something as interior became finished of damp, each and every thing stunk and maximum of my clothing were ruined. yet BA's monopoly over diverse routes skill I even ought to go by damn heathrow back..

Despite their volatility, trading penny stocks can be extremely lucrative. Here are three ways that you can profit from investing in penny stocks https://tr.im/H9LQC

The good news about penny stocks is that you can buy a good amount of shares without going broke. It’s thus easier to get a good stake in a company for less than you would pay for stock of a larger organization. To find a company that you feel confident investing in, make sure to do your research. Don’t just choose a company because you saw an article about it, or because your friend is investing in it.
