The guy I am dating kind of use his son as execuse when I asked him to get together sometime. How can you tell he is really busy/tied up or just playing games (his son is 12 year old) and last night when I text msg him to have dinner for tonight he got back to me 4 hours later and says "I am taking my son to a movie tomorrow at 7 u could always come if u wish" I found it a bit to reluctant so I declined. How can I tell he is serious. should I just wait for him for the next move and not text msg him any more? Please help.

I understand that you want time with him, but his son is always going to be #1. Blood is a lot thicker than water, so there isnt much you can do. But, he did invite you to go, so chances are he wasn't lying. I would get close to the son, he would probably really love that. At the same time I would also ask him if he thinks he has enough time for a good relationship.

Wait on him for the next move. If he don't call then you will know. you can also buy the book he's just not into you.

Put the ball in his court, and see if he text you. Let him ask you out!
