It's not advisable for anyone to propose. It's not the 50's anymore. Women can take care of themselves(and men too). You'll possibly get a disease also when you marry because over 50% of people cheat, which means that at least 1 of the 2 spouses will cheat. And divorce is becoming a given. Things change in life and learn to adapt.

If you are with a fun loving person who wouldn't think it's silly. I have a friend who did it, and he said yes and they married. It can be romantic just as well as when it's done the other way around. As long as you are sure of what you want, I'd say, why not !

YES!!! if you love him, ask him. i would. i was just saying to myself if im dating someone and we are in love and talk about a future together, marriage, lives, all that stuff. i said i would not just want for him to ask me unless he said, please dont ask me to marry you because i want to give you that pleasure, or something similiar.
