Okay... In talking with someone, he said he "would tell me to come in and see him, but, he would probably be busy working??? if that is what you call it these days.. " But is open to the lunch idea.. would you consider me a stalker if I were to come and see you just for a brief moment to say hello and then let him make the decision of lunch or not? He hasn't seen me in years and I haven't seen him in years.. but I am just curious to let us see each other for a brief moment then the decision of us going to lunch can be made? See, in knowing him I would of taken that as a suttle hint but I don't know if that would be the right thing or wrong thing to do? What do you think?

It sounds like he would rather have lunch where he could spend some time with you instead of taking the chance of having you come by and him be really busy.

You are a little unclear, but it seems like he hasn't seen you in years and would like to check you out. It he is not happy with what he sees, he has covered his bases by saying that he may be too busy to have lunch or spend time with you.

Honestly, I think that is shallow and if he is a decent guy, he would just ask you to lunch to reacquaint with you. If he can't just agree to that, then he is not worth it.

Depends on what he does for work.If he works at a job where it would be appropriate for you to be there it would be nice.If not, send him a card or something with an invite to lunch.Or just ask him?

It sounds to me like he's either playing hard to get or really isn't "thrilled" at the thought of spending any time with you. (Sorry, but that's how I'd take it.)
