A 7% impairment rating is high for an injury that only resulted in physical therapy. That's as much of an impairment rating as losing a limb, and there's just no comparison there. Expect the insurance company to question that when discussing settlement.
You have not told us enough for us to give you a value. Plus, every case, company, state, is different, so you can't even rely on what we tell you anyway. A year of p.t. is a lot! I don't even want to touch this question, and I have spent years pricing and settling injury claims!

You cannot get an accurate figure from the limited facts provided. However, a 7% impairment rating is quite a bit. Without knowing the injuries, the type of treatment, etc. I really wouldn't want to give you a figure, but would suggest you speak to an attorney. A $250,000 policy should easily cover your damages. My mother-in-law had approximately $20,000.00 in medical bills and her car was totalled, I got her $102,500.00. Good luck.

Obviously she was an idiot for letting you know her policy limit. Now you know you can try for what... $249,000 or something like that. You'll need a lawyer for one of these ones.
Pain and suffereing usually has to do with "punitive damages" that would be used to punish her for wrongdoing. Its possible you will only be compensated for real damages. Specifically, your car and medical bills... maybe lost work or something like that too.
When I first read this I thought you were saying you were impaired with a .07 BAC!

Well, assuming you weren't at fault in the accident, you have a couple of choices. You could talk to a competent attorney about your losses and injuries, and get some idea of what you could expect. Alternately you could post the question to Yahoo! Answers, and get a lot of people who know absolutely nothing about the situation giving you advice to "Sue the bastard."
