Blood isn't blue, that's a myth. It is however very dark at the bottom of your feet and at the tips of your fingers due to a lack of oxygen. That dark blood can sometimes look purple or blue or even black in some people's veins, but it's actually still dark red.
If blood was actually blue; how do you explain its red color when using sterilized needles? Wouldn't it remain blue if it never touches air inside the vacuum of the needle?
But if blood was blue, and being awed in this newly found fact, I would probably cut my finger just to see what blue blood looks like dripping from my body. It would probably look something like one of those Gatorade commercials.
