I suppose in some context it is. But the reason that life try's to reproduce is to pass on information.

Yes, the meaning of life depends on what you make it and what makes you happy. The meaning of life is relevant to the individual in western society, but eastern cultures are more group oriented . Therefore, their "meaning" is centered around group values.

well I think the meaning of the life is what you make of it. It could what the mean of how different things came into being . Like plants and animals but also it could also be on how human life envolved on Planet earth . Here a web site that might explain a little bit. have a nice day

No and Yes!
No because Allah is our Creator and He knows why He created us: to make this earth a home for us, a good place to live.
Yes because everyone is different and we can't all be good at the same things or love the same stuff. Find your passion and excel at it. This will make life the meaning that make sense to you and serve the greater purpose Allah meant.
We need to strectch our hands to each other for our sake. There are so many people in the world hurt, angry, poor, homeless, abused, ignorant, penniless, jobless, scared, traumatised, disabled, etc. You and I and everyone need to think how to help them based on our skills and passion to give meaning to our life and give them JUST a LIFE!
You see how priviledged we are! Sitting at our computers at home listening to music and asking and answering questions, even attacking each other when out there in the real word there are millions of people struggling just NOT to DIE!
Peace

Yes. We all make it up ourselves. Which doesn't mean that we can't refer to other people's experiences and other books and such. There is no reason to live in a vacuum or reinvent the wheel.
But, in all cases, even the most devote religious person - they are making their own choices.

Definitely, meaning is all in the mind, it doesn't really 'exist' outside in the physical world. Make up your own life narrative for it is all that really means anything

Atheism. Proven wrong by science, illogical to mankind. Read The Chronicles of Narnia, if your eyes strain on The Holy Bible.
Sure, we must find MEANING by working out our own salvation.Philippians 2:12, "Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling." Ephesians 2:8-10, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." Psalm 51:12, "Restore unto me the joy of Thy salvation; and uphold me with Thy free spirit."

Yeah, I guess.
I interpretted the earlier question to be asking what our beliefs tell us the meaning of life is designed to be.

hey there is no meaning to life - it's God's joke on mankind and he's up there in his cut offs and t-shirt laughing at all of us.
