I've hear it said that marriage is not a word but a sentence. You obviously want the book thrown at you !

Polygamy is something practised by a lot of people in the past including those where Mohamed came from. He was asked how many wives a man could have and the said, so I have been told, "One, two three or four as long as he can treat them all equally" Now since is it impossible to treat even two wives equally what he meant was you should stick to one wife but of course like all with most of these wise sayings it has be misinterpreted to mean a Muslim is allowed four wives

I guess you could, but a Muslim on the level of having multiple wives must be very devout (the wives will stand for nothing less) and truely dedicated Muslims don't get freedom when it comes to gettin it on.

Hmm. That really depends on where you reside.

If you live in the U.S., you can't legally have 3 wives, muslim or not.

I'm wondering WHY in the world you'd even consider such a thing in the first place (having three wives).

You obviously aren't married, huh?

Wives are not cheap in Muslim countries. A good wife will cost at least 20,000 US dollars. Are you sure you can afford to buy three wives?

In Islam, you just don't marry four wives for the the hell of it, it is allowed in case your wife is sick and she can't take care of you. It was allowed at the time of the prophet to have four wives because during the battles, there were a lot of widows.

and you really believe all that poppycock? Remember, Muhummad was as human and sinful as the rest of us. He took bits and pieces ofCatholicism, Judaism, Christianity and added in his own ideas and wallah! Islam! Why do you want three wives? isn't one good enough?
