Seriously, being a true Christian It's sad to see other church goers or "christians" act like they do. It hurts to know there is hypocricy, back stabbing, and gossip going on in the church. It's not that I'm shocked that it's happening,it's been going on ever since adam and eve disobeyed God, it's just that it's misleading people and distorting their view of Christianity. I feel I need to apologize on behalf of the church, because I want you to know the truth, and I want to be a good example of christianity. If you've been pushed away from christianity because of these things please know that there is more to your life than what you see and there really is hope in Jesus Christ. Please consider reading your Bible if you need answers and consider recieving Him as your Lord and saviour. Any thoughts on this?

Sad but true, I'm afraid. Many people out there have a twisted perception of what it truly means to be a Christian. The Lord is coming soon, so we should make straight our paths and pray to our Lord to make us pure and perfect children of Him. We must strengthen our relationship with God, and only by doing this and reading our Bibles can we become God's children. Bible prophecy tells that in the last days, there will be a small number of true Christians, only 144,000 I belive, who will follow the Lord to Heaven.
The Bible is the only reliable source for testing a person who claims to be of Christ, and only by it can we know whether or not a person is a Christian. 1 John 4:1.

God bless you, I will pray that you come to find a more meaningful relationship with the Lord.

I do not like to use the word "religion." For that is mans attempt in their best efforts to get right with God. Many different demoninations, or practices, that people follow that makes them feel like they can get in "good standing" with our creator. Thats why there are so many conflicts between these "religions" and people are fighting over it. Thats the result of tainting God's plan. We forget the reason Jesus came and died for us! He came so that we would have the true way back to the Father, and that He would establish the TRUE way of living. Thus, Christianity, which means Christ-like or little-Christ, is NOT a religion but merely the lifestyle of Christ that we are to replicate. Not by our own efforts, but made possible by the Holy Spirit in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Accept His Gift of salvation and experience the life of abundance. May the Lord Bless You Abundantly!!!

Tares will grow together with the good seed, (the children of the kingdom - Matt.13:38, Acts.17:29, Gal.3:26, the wheat - Matt.13:30) to the end.

Tares are those Jesus will profess He never knew (Matt.7:23, Lk.13:17).

It is very hard being a christian sometimes, that's why we need to pray daily and ask God to help us to do the right things. It's spiritual immaturity mainly that gets people angry and offended by alot of these question and answers. That's what the non-believers see. Non-believers watch every single thing you do just waiting for us to mess up.

The problem is, and always has been, a deep disagreement about who are the true christians. Is it simply someone who has, as you put it. "recieved Jesus Christ" or is it someone who feeds the poor, clothes the naked... what is THE determining factor? How do we know that you are a 'true christian' unless you tell us what you think that means?

Well, we gonna be in trouble big time.....DELIVER US FROM EVIL is coming to select theaters soon, tongues are gonna be wagging like you never heard before...if you think the PASSION OF THE CHRIST was controversial...just you wait. And skip the popcorn folks, you will be nauses. Sad but true I'm afraid. My only theory is I'm only responsible for my own soul and no one else's. Thank you JESUS....and just so you know, you cannot goodwill your way, or buy your way into HEAVEN, there is room for everyone who wants to come, and ONLY by the BLOOD shed of our LORD JESUS CHRIST will our sins be forgiven, and HE and ONLY HE will be our JUDGE on judgement day...this is what I believe.

I completely agree with you.
I like this expression:
"Live your life everyday according to the word, because you might be the only Bible some people ever read"

Seems like most Christians don't live like that.

I agree with you. Although nobody's perfect, Christians have the responsibility of being better people because that is our calling. It is a difficult task, but it is what Christ wants.

What is a 'true Christian?' Are we not all humans, do we not all make mistakes? The question should be, what can each of us do to help people remember what it means to be Christian.

Yes, it's incredibly sad and frustrating. But only God can separate the wheat from the tares. He's in control.
