If you could invite 3 people from the past, living... or not for an evening of intertainment, questions, or just to meet a hero, who would you invite and why??

Ulysses S. Grant - a fascinating man, a dogged fighter, a supremely confident warrior who hated the sight of blood, a devoted family man, a man who experienced all the highs and lows of life and the author of one of the finest autobiographies in the English language.

Colette -- for the conversation.

John Wayne -- to keep my husband happy while I'm talking to Colette and the General.

(I'm tempted to add Jesus but I think I would be too nervous to enjoy myself).

For a serious evening...

I'd invite Abraham Lincoln. I'd like to tell him he did the right thing.

I'll skip the obvious Jesus. Let go for Moses. I mean he actually talked with God.

George W. Bush. So I could kick him in the nuts.

For fun...

Paul McCartney, Picasso and George W. Bush. Not passing up a shot at kicking him in the nuts. That would be fun.

i'd invite Leonardo DaVinci THE greatest artist there ever was ( to me anyway) and plus i admire all the other work he did besides his art like the research on the human body, the architecture...i'd like to ask him why he never felt that he finished his most famous work, the mona lisa, and what other else went through that brilliant mind that remained unknown. (yes this guy is my hero)

id invite ....julius ceasar or augustus ....kljhdafglkadfjhgdfg ok it would have to be julius caesar because he was the beginning of the greatest most influential empire there ever was. id interview the crap out of him, about his campains the betrayals the triumvirate (i sont know if thats the right word) then id ask him about daily life in Rome and as a soldier

then of course( how many poeple have this?) that right Jesus the one and only. i dont think id get around to interviewing him cause id be all like its Jesus... but if i did, i'd ask him about his human-ish life, the part. actually id like to have his mother over more because i want to know how it felt to raise Jesus and how she raised him, how he was as a child all that stuff..
hope you enjoyed reading my super long thingy.i usually have a longer answer to questions lke these but i'll spare you

I would invite Jim Morrison, John Lennon, and Lenny Kravitz. I think the combination of the three would provide a great dynamic and endless hours of conversation. These three are very profound thinkers in addition to being talented musically.

Mark Twain - the man was a riot! Einstein - smart & funny & finally, Dorothy Parker - also smart & funny! Obviously I want people laughing at my dinner table - and there would probably be more than a few drinks and cigars shared too.

Anthony Howell, a gorgeous actor from London. I loved seeing him in Wives and Daughters as well as Foyle's War.
He's an awesome actor and I'd love to meet him and get to know him face to face.

Dr. McDreamy- Patrick Dempsey.
I'd like to see what he's like in person.

My best friend Ann who I grew up with and then she moved away. I'd really like to know what became of her.
