I've been taking the antidepressant Cymbalta for about a month and a half. I can tell some changes in me but some days I feel anxious and a bit depressed. I hoped the Cymbalta would relieve me of all of the negative feelings and they do for the most part. I also know it takes a while for it to get into your system. Has anyone who is taking Cymbalta exeperienced anything similar? Thanks.

Yes I experienced the SAME THING.Cymbalta is a good med, first because you don´t get dependent to it since it is very soft and it improves the symptoms since it works in your brain neurotrasmiters. It is normal to feel anxious and depressed. Therefore you also have to combine medicine with WILL POWER. Positive thinking. Other things that have helped me: Yoga, Acupunture, Exercise. Good luck! you are not alone. If you want contact me to (Argentox2@yahoo) remember that it is normal to feel those symptoms (your neurotrasmiters are all messed up right now) but you can´t only rely on the medicines, there is also therapy

It works well for me, unfortunately I am going through a hard time, even so, I feel less depressed about doing myself in. When I bounce back I am really going to fly. Seriously, I have more energy, more socially relaxed, and less anxious. I withdrew once, and had got over the withdrawal systems, then I got to the point where I initially decided to go on Cymbalta anyway. When I felt that horrible again, I went straight to the drug store and started taking Cymbalta again. I also get depressed and anxious, but not as much and I function better overall.

Any individual who simply says 'use cognitive healing' and that meds are a brief-time period degree, do not knwo what they are speaking approximately, and feature more commonly in no way suffered the indications the likes of you and me enjoy. I began having panic assaults, and that began a vicious cycle. I needed to preclude many circumstances (my paralysing nervousness was once involving public speakme) in my process, and price me promotions, as I would now not do the 'rise up' facet of my process. Medication is the excellent means, I've been on Paroxetine for the final 7 years. I'd say that ninety% of my situation has fully been managed making use of treatment, and that is the way in which I love it. People can harp on approximately self-empowerment and the entire leisure of it, however for plenty of persons that conveniently does now not paintings. Plus, it calls for years of self-aid systems, which to me, are a load of cr ap. Go to general practitioner, there is not any stigma in taking pills. If you've gotten received a damaged leg, you get medication - it is precisely the equal for nervousness. Believe me, I am proper in what I am announcing. Do now not pay attention to those who let you know to not take treatment, as the ones persons have not received a clue. You'll be supervised via your general practitioner, so what is the massive deal?
