If you can't spell it, please don't breed it. Really, there are too many dogs, we don't need anymore.

I'd contact the breeder of your girl first of all, she may be able to offer you valuable advice &, knowing her breeding, may be able to recommend a good stud dog, who would help make your pups an improvement on both parents. Your breeder might also be able to offer you sensible advice on the pros & cons of breeding from your girl.
Alternately, there's the Champdogs site. I've put a link below. It has a list of breeders (including counties) & a stud dog list. It seems really comprehensive & allows you to check out the pedigree of the stud dog before contacting the stud dogs owner.
It's all very true what all your other people giving answers have said BUT not all the dogs looking for homes are Shar Pei &, possibly unfortunately, not everyone wants to rescue an adult dog or to rescue one of uncertain parentage. Some people dream of having a certain type of dog or having a puppy to grow up with them & their family. Someone has to breed puppies. I'd much rather have a puppy from a loving family home, than one reared on a puppy farm. A puppy used to household noises & children, a puppy from a mother with excellent temperment.
I would check out more about breeding Shar Pei though ... things like any problems that might occur during whelping, the number of puppies that are generally in a litter, etc. I'd make sure that I had somewhere quiet for her to whelp, somewhere warm & washable to rear the puppies. I'd also make sure that I had sufficient spare cash to cover the cost of any vet fees for emergencies (like ceasarians). And that I had sufficient time available for all the work that puppies involve (possible hand rearing, definate cleaning up the poops, etc.).
I'd also, hopefully, have a small waiting list of people eager to have one of my girl's pups - so that the majority, if possible, would be booked before birth.
But don't let people put you off - if you have the time, money & resources available - every other dog breeder had to start somewhere .... however, you must take into account that you might be lucky to break even on the pups .... so you have to be breeding your girl for more than just money.
Anyway, sorry, rambling on - just thought that some of the other people answering had been a touch unfair - hope that the Champdogs links helps & that the breeder(s) you get in contact with give you plenty of good advice.
Best wishes,

Please spay and neuter-if you are not showing the dog there is no reason to breed. Have you seen how many homeless pets are on petfinder? Only 1 of 10 dogs born in the US today will find a permanent home and most dog's never see their 2nd birthday. There are too many nice well-behaved dogs that need homes-lets not make more.

Considering that the Shar-Pei breed is riddled with health problems, you really need to know at least the basics before attempting to breed them. Otherwise you'll have lots of unhappy puppy buyers knocking at your door wanting refunds for their sick dogs.

Can i ask why you want to breed, just because she has a good temperament and is good with kids is no reason to breed.
How old is she?
Is she a good example of the breed?if she hasn't been shown how do you know this?
Advertising on a public board or forum tells me you don't really know what your doing.

there is no such thing as a shai pai. Someone who cannot even spell the name of their breed correctly, has no business trying to breed. What health checks does your dog have? Has she been tested for entropian, hip trouble etc etc? What makes you think she will make a good mother? Why do you want her to have a litter of puppies?
SOunds like you are simply another ignorant owner who thinks they will be making themselves a shedload of money when in fact they will barely break even if they do the job properly.

Geezz people! No need to be sooooooooo rude! It's a simpel question!!!! Ok, My dog is wonderful with kids to, she is full blood, and absoultley stunning. She is sooo pretty and we've had many people we don't even know completment her pretty self. But think about it, does your dog have championship titles? Any training? Proof Of FULL health? I had to think of this before I wanted to bred Zoey. We ended up getting her fixed, for the best. You don't want more puppies in the world mabey being sold to puppy mills and being bred over and over. Get your dog fixed, this helps prevent cancer and other sickness. Plus, not alot of people are going to want to buy a pup from some regular Shar-pai with no wins. I'm not NOT trying to be rude but I'm just telling you the truth.
Hoped This Helped!!!!
GOOD LUCK!!!!
