so, what the Bible is saying, if you happen to really, really see and/or talk to God face to face, you chance having your life taken from you because you did have a one-on-one with Him. Hmmm, so God's allowed to kill, but the rest of us have to respect the Commandment, Thou Shalt Not Kill.
Again, very, very contradictory. Is God loving or a human killer?

Before Jesus came, God existed in eternity. for man to see god face to face, man would have to make the transition into eternity, ergo death. This made seeing eye to eye with God somewhat difficult. SO Jesus, God become flesh, that is fully human, came to earth and very many people saw Him face to face.

"Thou shall not kill" is actually, "Thou shall not murder". So go ahead and kill if you want to, just don't murder.

If you think God may be a human killer, is it really wise to argue with Him?

I disagree with your ?. You see this god that you are talking about is the creator of all this universe. No ?'s asked. This is his ball park if one should need to know. But he is also the great power of all the entire universe. We as human being can not stand even looking at the being. Even listing to this being is more than one can stand to endure.Pay attention and read on you will see his love and how he has made it all worth while for those who believe in his son.

Honstly it seems as if you are trying to put yourself on the same level as God. We cannot do this. We have only the knowledge and wisdom that we are granted from him and no more.

At some point, God does tell us that all will be revealed, but until then, we need to accept that we do not know the rest of the story yet.

God is not available to take your call, if you would like to leave a message..........etc. God will see you NOW. Keep your hands and feet inside the ride at all times until it comes to a complete stop. If God knows everything than why did he create Satan or the serpent that deceived man.......oops, I meant Eve. If you were God what would you do differently?

God is Awesome!!! He gives and takes away. God is Love. He is too good to be looked upon by sinful eyes. Why? Do you think you are Rightous enough to see God? But, through Jesus, those who believe will see him. God is Creator of all things.... why then does he not have the right to destroy.

You don't realize that we all are guilty and evil hearted already from birth and from our own behavior. Our sinfulness keeps us from a holy God. He is just if he kills us all but in Jesus he offers forgiveness by taking our sin and giving us his holiness. Because he is holy he has to deal with sin. Either we accept his abundant mercy or we perish in our sins. Just be thankful that he wants to forgive us and not take us all out. Don't be foolish.
Choose life through Jesus.
He is the way, the truth and the life.

Yes, the Almighty gave and will take away. You shouldn't kill cause you can't judge well, enough for that.

Having you're life taken from you can be good or bad, depending on what you have done with it.

No, what the Bible is saying is exactly what it says .... that Jacob wrestled with an Angel named Peniel (or Penuel maybe) and the Angel didn't kill him lol.

Lucky him, I hear they are huge beings, he's lucky he didn't get more than just his thigh withered.

why start an argument? the old testament is called old, because there is a new testament.

Why did God find it necessary to kill Moses' grandson? It's a crock. So, why don't you just tell us what your great idea on religion is, rather than continually bash the one you've chosen to bash?
