Depends on the role you've adopted in the meantime. If you've been a cringing Casper Milquetoast in a certain environment, a sudden spasm of assertion and decision making is going to cause some ripples! Akin to throwing a hand grenade on the table. Could be fun .... Also depends on who you have to battle for the leadership role, and the ructions that will occur, if any. However, if the situation has mired down and the group has sunk into apathy, an emergent leader and subsequent energising of the group is certainly going to make a profound impression. Good luck!

There are probably hundreds of definitions of leadership so the answer will depend on which one you use. I believe, at best, leadership is about presenting yourself as who you really are, so effectively that others identify with your authenticity. Using that definition the answer might be, "No it is never too late to be authentic with others, however, I suspect that the longer you create some other perception the less likely it is that you will make a profound impression. There is an expression, 'You only get one chance to make a first impression,' so start immediately which is sometimes easier said than done."

I would think not. Anybody Can take a leadership role at any time and still be able to make a difference. However, some rare and extreme cases can be accepted as "To Late".

I think it depends on the person in which you are trying to help or make an impression on. Only after you have tried to do somethin, will you be able to say whether or not it is too late. If you succeed in helping that person, then it wasn't too late. But if you fail, then it was too late. You can't take it personal because you aren't that person, you only tried to help them. Everybody doesn't want to be helped.

absolutely not, it is never too late to let someone know how you feel, or to teach, or to learn. What people have regrets most about in life is the things that you didn't do rather than the things that you did. We will never know the impact that we have on everyone we meet and that touch our lives and vice verse. Life is about discoveries and when we stop learning we stop living. I love talking to my elders, I learned a lot from my grandmother (who is no longer with us) we put together a CD of her talking about life, school and meeting grandpa and how things were different back then ( early 1900's) it is amazing how much we learn when we stop to listen.
