It's been 2 years, that may be long enough. Only you know for sure though, if it feels right go for it. Just take it nice and slow.
Good luck honey, Lynn

There is no specific date. the time is right when you feel is right. I know one man who's divorce wasn't even final and he start dating right away. But then again his wife cheated and he was looking for revenge. I dont know about your situation, but I know that all break ups are hard and moving on is hard. if you want some more advice from me, feel free to email me. Good luck!

Start dating when you feel that you are ready. Just make sure that you don't expose your daughter to a revolving door of women. Don't include her in any dating activities until you are sure that the relationship has potential.

A lot less than 2 years I would say - get back on the dating scene - you will find someone you deserve.

The fact that you're asking yourself (and others) this question means you have doubts, which could mean that you're not ready.
See how it goes. Take things slowly. Your instincts will tell you when you've met someone who catches your eye, who's available and also interested in you (and, later on, your little girl).
The last thing you want is to end up in another unsatisfactory relationship.

Whenever you feel comfortable in dating again, you should. Don't put your daughter in jeopardy, she should come first, but you obviosly already know that- I bet you're a great dad!
