I asked if I could state my disbelief about hell and heaven, without being reported, and my question has been deleted, under the charge of 'chatting'. I mean, I was not insulting or anything, just 'chatting'. What would this prove?
And, do you thing THIS new question is bound to disappear, too?

I'm beginning to think that anyone who asks a legitimate question to the the R&S regulars will get reported by someone who patrols YA heavy traffic areas looking for what they think are violations.
I've gotten two questions deleted due to chatting as well. One of them I had already picked a best answer and it was like four days after I asked the question.
The second one was only a couple of days after asking, but it wasn't chatting either.
I've emailed them back, and hopefully if I keep doing it I will get a real live person and not just some BOT.

I think everyone has gotten nailed for "Chatting" at one time or another, and they really haven't been chatting. I think that is a ridiculous abuse of this forum in itself to have that as a reportable offense. After all questions and answers IS chatting.
Some of the really gross stuff slips right through too, it just doesn't make sense.

The slightly wierd people at Yahoo (who I have always imagined to be Californian type "Wayne's world" characters, don't like chatting. You are meant to ask a question, as an example
"Did you know if you don't follow the bible you WILL burn in HELL YOU MISERABLE SINNERS"
I then come back with an answer, for example
"You are a BLITHERING IDIOT and you believe in a MYTH, you have no PROOF".
On the other hand, if you say
"Did you know if you don't follow the bible you WILL burn in HELL YOU MISERABLE SINNERS. I hope you are all well."
and I say
"You are a BLITHERING IDIOT and you believe in a MYTH, you have no PROOF. I'm fine, how are you?".
we both get done for chatting.

I know what you mean. I asked a question about the religious right and it was knocked out under chatting as well......this isn't exactly called yahoo conversations. You actually need dialogue.

I don't believe in the traditional heaven and hell either.
You will probably get reported not by me I am for free speach
probably a muslim they are always reporting me.

People get very uneasy and defensive when their dearly-held beliefs are questioned, threatened or debated. They think that if they remove the question, they won't have to face the idea.
