I'd rather be an old mans darling than a young mans slave.

It's not bad for sure. You are of legal age. The one thing that might be a problem is that you are liking different performers, song's and your ideas are a bit different having grown up in a different time.
In some cultures it is expected the man will be 10 to 15 years older than the woman at least.
So enjoy, enjoy enjoy. I would date the jolly green giant if it made us both contented.
Don't worry just tell your parents. Do it alone. Don't put him through that until you break with ice.

You are afraid to tell them because you are immature. I would think, normally, someone would afraid to tell their parents something like that when they are 15-17 years old; but at 33 years of age, someone would care less what his parents (or friends) think. Perhaps, your personal immaturity, not love, is what had led you to an older partner in the first place. At least, it sounds very much like so.

Age is but a number my friend as long as you both love each other there is no problem ,If you wanted the older man for his money this is then wrong.Putting of telling your parents is wrong and causing you more concern every day just tell them !!!!!You are well and truely old enough to make your own decisions at first it may be hard for them but they will accept him if he treats you well.

Hell, Im 20 and my husband is 39. The only one dissapointedd about it is my mother. Still not over it after two years.dn't be afraid to tell them though. I had to tell mine when I was 18 that I was married and going to have a child with someone their age. Fun fun.
There is nothing wrong with it at all. If you like the guy, don't worry about it. Your parents will probably be happy that you found someone who treats you well.

You are 35 for Pete's sake! Quit being afraid of your parents reaction. I married a man 15 years younger than myself. All I can say is that age doesn't really matter, but usually HEALTH issues can come between two people. Can you still stay with this man when he gets wheelchair bound, etc...... Think about it!

If you two get along, that is OK. On average though, that 25 years will show up soon in health and physical ability. You will still be a vibrant young women, and he will be a very old man.

At 33 and still afraid of your parents...give us a break..the only way to find out is to tell them and if they cant agree, then that is their hangup not yours....your happiness is what should count for you and not what someone else wants for you....

Don't get married unless you are ready to care for a geriatric when you are in your prime. Other than that this is no problem.
Tell your folks and enjoy life together. Good luck from an old fart with a young wife.

There is nothing wrong with it since you are both adults. If you were a little younger, you would be looking at maturity problems. It is commonly accepted that women mature earlier than men. However, if you are happy, I am happy for you!
