I personally would just donate it to Locks of Love. That would make some girl feel so special to have your beautiful hair. Here is a link for donating:

My cousin used to thin out my hair and use it to make wigs, but I don't know how you would go about selling it or what it would be worth.
Locks of love is a much better idea(unless you desperately need the money).
about 8 yrs ago I cut 26 inches off my hair, and they donated it to Locks of love, and it was a great decision. Mostly, because I missed my hair alot for a while, and it made the transition alot easier knowing someone who was suffering badly, got some relief from having my hair. Cancer is a nasty, nasty disease, and it must be really hard to lose ALL your hair so quickly just because you opted to try to save your life by having Chemotherapy.
Kudos to you if you donate it. It will live on for a great cause!

I have always heard that you can get a decent chunk of change for selling hair. My wife has long hair which gets a sizable trim every 5 years or so and she always donates it to Locks of Love. If you have ever seen any of these cancer patients who receive these wigs you will definitely understand the appeal of this option. It is much more rewarding than money could ever be.

I would not worry about making a buck... give it to locks of love with 20 inches they could make 2 wigs and 2 people could have hair again. Most cancer patient long to go back to normal after the traumatic ordeal that had to go through for cancer. DONATE DONATE DONATE!

Donate it to Locks of Love - My Neice had a wig made for her from Locks of Love, it gave her back her self confidence. Its a wonderful program. Just think, all the money in the world isn't worth what you could do for someone elses self esteem. The bonus - you feel better about yourself when you perform an act of kindness.

Donate it to Locks of Love. Let a child enjoy not being bald and ridiculed by other kids.

I dont know about selling it, but I was going to suggest that you donate it to locks of love. That would be a wonderful gesture and help someone who needs it.

I'm not particularly sure if anyone buys hair normally & I'm sure you wouldn't get much. But, it is better to not be so selfish and do the right thing and donate it to Locks of Love, I'm sure they would appreciate it more.
