Today I woke up, got dressed for for work then went to the bathroom. I was brushing my teeth when I noticed a dozen or so blonde hair strands. I have no idea how my hair color is changing. I'm 21 now, can it be my age or something? Has this happened to anyone? I'm just lost.

Someone once told me that your body changes every 7 years. I do not know how true that it is, but it might hold true for you. Have you been in the sun lately? I know that my hair is brown but should I go outside in the sun it will get blonde streaks in it.

weird!
It could be that they were always there and you just didn't realise?

Otherwise some product you used could have bleached the hair if it came into contact. Spot creams in particular do this.
Other things that could change it are sunlight exposure, lemon juice and other products around the home.
Maybe your toothpaste could even be doing it?! Is it whitening toothpaste?

Was it strands at the front of your hair the ones that touch your face or that you wipe off of your face with your hands??
Maybe a cleaning product on your hands has transfered onto your hair.

Some facial moisturisers can bleach too. Have a think about what you've been using, otherwise I guess it is just naturally changing. That's not unheard of.

it could be because there was something on your hand and you pass your fingers in your hair or just going tanning could have that effect think about what could have happened. And your system completely recycles every 7 years, so it is one of those three causes...
