i have decided to find myself with god again....i'm seeing a born again christian but he is very distant with me, i find it hard to get even a kiss and a hug from him i want to be closer with him i.e sit and cuddle up and share more intimate kisses rather than just a quick peck i'm finding this very frustrating, my ex was very abusive with me and i just want to be close with my b/f he has had other relationships of a sexual nature with a girl who wanst born again so i dont understand what is wrong with me,i am 26 and he is 42 and been born again for 7 yrs plz can you give me any advice

1. Get out of this relationship with a man almost old enough to be your father who is cold, remote and obviously more concerned with his religion than with you.
2. Find yourself by living in the world and experiencing what life has to offer. NOT by giving up on your own natural intelligence by turning to a mythical being.

Yes my advice is to take your focus off of this physical stuff and put it on the Lord. The first sentence you wrote was about wanting to get close to God. Here is a verse that has so much wise instruction in it: "seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness....and all things will be added to you". Put your heart and mind on learning His word, on allowing God to make you into the image of His son...He will order your steps with regard to every aspect of your life, including your relationships. Don't try to force things...allow God to move things along at His own perfect timing.

This may be a nice Guy but he sounds a bit up tight about his religion.
Why don't you try to find someone closer to your own age, who can loosen up a bit.

he has obviusly come to realise what he did before was wrong so this time is trying to keep it pure. he can not change his past only make his future better. either be patiant and wait if you think you might marry or look for some one else if its sex you wont.

i think the whole age difference tells it all........wanna be happy look for some one of ur age...u wont have any problem, u two will think same way...do it same way....u will stay happy.

tell him how you feel and see if he feels the same way. if you think it's going slower than you want it to go, tell him.
