I was 18 when I moved out. If you have a permanent job there should be no reason for you to live at home. If you are going to college then you should stay home until you finish your studies this way you can focus on your school work and worry about a career and moving out after your done with school.

Leave home at 18 if you are no longer in school because you are a legal adult. If you are living with your parents because of financial issues then that's understandable but you should be working and saving up to get out on your own and to help with expenses you can find a decent, responsible roommate.

19 isn't too old to live with parents. You can't move out unless you can afford to pay your share of the rent. Do you have enough income to pay rent & utilities? If you aren't earning enough, not even for the rooms for rent in your area then go find yourself another job. Unless your parents are driving you bananas that's when it is time to move away.

There is nothing wrong with living with your parents at your age if you are productive enough to share in the household. But i think the right time would be after college wherein you have all the weapon to make it on your own into the world.

iI say, when your 16 you should save up you money & spend it on something like a car so when your 17 or 18 u can drive your self to work when you get a job and save up for your own place. But there is nothing wrong with living with you parents at age 19.If you have a job, and saving your money for your future.Good luck, man. You have your whole life ahead of you.............don't waist it.

You didn't give us enough info to make a good decision. . . but
If you are in college carrying a full load of classes or working 60 hours saving for something major, but contributing some $$ to your parents it would be OK for a couple of years but NOT if you are just hanging out being a deadbeat slacker.

That's the age I moved out, but I had a terrible relationship with my parents. If you have a good relationship with your parents, they don't cramp your style and you are doing it to save money for college and stuff, then don't worry about it.

I think age 20 male/female. I think that gives you time once you graduate from high school to get a little taste of the real world and begin to experience it for yourself.
