As long as daddy tells him t o hit you, he is going to think it is ok. Not fair to your son that he is receiving mixed signals! Tell daddy to STOP!

In all seriousness, you will have a problem changing this behavior if his male role model is encouraging him. I would suggest telling your husband to knock it off because he's teaching his son a very bad habit. Until your husband teaches him it is wrong, and you two have a united front about this behavior, your son will continue to do it. The problem is not your son, it is your husband. Change the bahavior in him and you will change the behavior in your son.

First talk to your husband about how you feel, then if he agrees together you both can gently undo was is in your son. If he disagrees keep showering your son with love and kisses. Your husband obviously did not have a mother or sister around or else he would know how to treat a woman.

well first of all it's not your sons fault it's your husbands for teaching him to hit. so first talk to your husband about how you feel and he needs to tell your son not to hit since he was the one who showed him how.

First of all - Your husband needs to GROW UP. He is surely not acting like an adult, even thou he might think this is funny. The only sulution for you son is to put in in time out. Set up a chair- his size in a corner and every time he hits you or anyone else - put in in the chair, you will have to stand there and inforce the punishment. 1st time, only start at 1 minute... good luck

Wow. What a man! Does your husband hit you?

Well, the others have said enough here. I can only add that your husband may not realize what he is doing or the long term affects of it. Educate him.

Sounds like you need to talk to your husband and get it straight there first. He's the one responsible for the disrespectful behavior your son is showing you. Kick your husbands *** for being disrespectful and let your son know he is naughty(not bad) for doing hurtful things.

Why would your husband do that? Ya know what, I think since your husband taught him how to hit--he should be the one that un-teaches him.

When dad says "Hit momma." reply to your son, "Don't hit mommy, give her a hug." Dad is setting him up to be abusive towards women.
