one keg should do. If you're hesitant and think you may drink more, just buy a 12 pack in case. I really don't think you'll need it though.
A 2nd keg would be a waste of a good thing, as once it's tapped it may go flat before you finish it.

A keg is the equivalent of 160 bottles of beer. With that in mind, each person at your 30 person party gets almost 6 beers. You know your friends better than us. Will the average person drink 12 beers while there? If so 2 kegs should be fine. Maybe buy a case or two just to be on the safe side. If this is going to be a more rowdy party, you may want to consider 3. That is an average of 18 beers each, which could be drank in 6 hours if it is a really wild group. Another factor is the kind of beer. Natural light will not go nearly as far as Honey Brown. With this in mind, make your decision.

With thirty people, i would go for two. If it's looking more along the lines of 20, i'd go for one. At our stations, we also have the 1/2 size kegs, so that could also be a consideration if it's available. Enjoy!!!

A keg holds well over 120 beers, and not everyone drinks beer, so I would say you're safe with 1 standard keg.

relies upon on the beer. in case you cost human beings $5 on the door, you'll likely wreck even on the kegs and human beings in all likelihood received't whinge. once you've the want to make a income on the party on your attempt and time, cost $10 yet you may want to get some lower priced asses which will whinge.

2, unless you have REALLY heavy beer drinkers. Then you may need 3 but probably not. Party hard!
