we have STD's and AIDS, or Cancer and the flu?

Wouldn't our intelligent designer be intelligent enough to make us immune from those things?

Also, if intelligent design are true...why do squids have more advanced eyeballs than we do? Squids do not have blind spots like we do. Does that mean "the designer" like them squids more than humans?

Please explain.

please lets stop calling creationism "intelligent design", Intelligent design is nothing but a sad attempt of christians to make creationism sounds less spiritual and more scientific.

If evolution is true and squids have found a superior form of eye, why haven't we developed that same type of eye? Also, why haven't we evolved to where we are immune to STD's, AIDS, cancer, & the flu? Why do we have to wear coats in the winter? Shouldn't we have developed heavy fur on our bodies by now, at least eskimos should have. Why do sheep in South America have heavy wool? They should have evolved away from that by now.

I am so glad you brought up the eye balls. What a wonderful simple platform to answer your question with. How did evolution accidently mutate skin cells into eye balls? What would be the odds of eyeballs just appearing from a mutation?

If you do your homework you will discover that the cancer you mention is mearly a mutated cell that turns and attacks the healthy cells. This my friend is evolution. We would be one great big cancer blob if you follow the logic.

We have disease as a rusult of sin. Not a direct personal result but a general result. The Law of GOD is like the law of gravity. It simply is. Not a voted on congressional type law.
May GOD richly bless you.

What good would it do? Would you listen to good hard science? I don't think you would. You are locked into your fantasy so deeply that you haven't even bothered to find out if spontaneous life is even possible... As far as your assertion that all these terrible illnesses are God's mistakes. You aren't even to take any responsibility for your ungodly behavior. It's man's disobedience to God that caused all that pain God had a perfect world all set for us and we not God messed it up.. Go learn something about spontaneous life, say maybe something on chirality of amino acids chains. And then come back and talk.... Jim

These questions apply to 24-hour-day creationists as well as those that say "nature did it by accident."

But to indulge you -
1) the deseases - they evolve too (enter we also believe in evolution here), and mortal sickness has its purposes.

2) Not having squid eyes - we don't need them, we're at the top of the food chain.

LOL the i.d. fundys think that evolution works like magic too! Sorry there is no magic in Science....

(and above, evolution is NOT contingent on abiogenesis, although there are in fact very plausible hypotheses about it. Dishonesty or willful ignorance?)
