Usually you have to pay a small fee. They use it for spay/neuter or food. Some require you fill out adoption papers. Hope this helps!

some dog shelters only require a donation and some ask for what ever cost they want from you to buy the dog.

you dont make a donation, you pay for the dog, but its only the cost of the dogs immunisations that you pay for, usually works out at about 65-70 quid x

it dipends all rescue centers are diffrent we got a dog from a local center and we paid £85 for her that was to cover the cost of her vaccinations, chipin and basic care i think its the same at battersey but you would have to go on the wed page to find out for sure

Most will expect about £100.00p for a dog because if you say you can't afford that they will say well you can't afford to keep it.
