Hi,

A muslim man is not allowed to marry a woman of another faith except Chritian or Jew who believe in Monotheism, not those who say God is 3!

If a muslim man decides to marry a Hindu girl, in the sight of his Creator (Allah/God) and the muslim community, they are not married, so he would be fornicating each time he has intimacy with her. The marriage is not valid, unless the girl chooses out of her own will and freedon and understanding to submit to Allah and become a Muslim. Being a muslim by name will not make her a muslim if she does not believ in the fundamentals of the religion.

Now about the family, it depends how serious they take their religion. If they follow the guidlines set in Islamic law, then they wouldnt accept the marriage. However the manner in which the deal with this may vary. Some families may talk to the guy and explain why he can not marry a Hindu girl, others may abandon him, some may also like to talk to the girl n speak to her about Islam and what she thinks of it, by teaching her it properly.

Yet on the othet hand, a family may accept it if they are not aware of the Islamic ruling regarding this, or if they dont take the reliogion too serious.

Hope this helps.

It depends on the family and their belief's. Many Muslims are very moderate in their belief's. As for the Shariah law it is forbidden to marry someone who believes in more than one God. Since Hindu's have many Gods they would fall into the forbidden category unless they are willing to convert to Islam. Of course if she converts to Islam she will be an outcast in her own family so that is not a solution.

sure they will.i totally understand if u're in love u should marry the guy/ gal despite of their religion so tht u have no regrets in future for being spineless but frm a parent's point of view they're right too.coz at the end of the day two ppl frm different religions just aren't compatible. n yea i guess the guy will be out of the picture in the begining atleast.one should only marry if u're sure u can put up with all these pressures... as far as the law goes i don't think its wrong in ne way.i wonder why u're askin this tho.....
