Do guys really just want women they know they can just sleep with? They don't have anything in common, and he has even admitted that he finds her annoying at times!

This is an old boyfriend but it has always bothered me. THIS was what I was left for. Can someone explain this to me?

Guys do not always use the best judgment. If he left you for someone who is an easy lay, don't be too concerned. I doubt their relationship has any depth, and he will soon leave her too, or else just continuing using her, which is just pitiful for both of them.
You do need to ask yourself if you truly want to be involved with someone who would use another person as he is using her.
There are plenty of good guys out there---keep looking and good luck!

Any time a man leaves a woman it's because she's not what he was looking for. Humans whether they be male or female develop a sense of the type of partner they want in life. How else do you explain the weird pairings you see at the mall every week? Want some advice....learn to use make-up and fix yourself up EVERY day no matter what. Men like women that are pretty, flirty, and a wee bit on the trashy side. How else do you explain the fact the prostitution is the world's oldest profession? If all married women would take this into account on romance night...there'd be a lot less broken relationships. My wife learned this lesson early in life...and 38 years later I follow her up the stairs like a dog in heat!

Sex is the most important thing to a man. Sure we like emotional support, and good conversation, but instinct is why we are around women.

Do not buy into the intellectual world too much. The mind without the body has no reason to go on.

Just think about not having sex, before you blame your friends behavior.

He's just a jerk! People like him will get it back one day. All men are not the same. So just take that situation as a lesson learned.

finding someone "annoying at times" may not be enough reason to break up.
if it was, how many relationships would last more than a few weeks?
