If alchemy was possible, would you be cool with it, or would you take a more anti-alchemy (or Ishbalan, for those of you who have seen Fullmetal Alchemist) point of view on it?

For those of you who don't know, Alchemy is the art of taking one or more things and tranmutating it or them into something else.

oOoO good question. I don't think it would be anything, a category all into it's own.

And yeah I'd be all for it

I do alchemy, as it happens. Nothing quite so grandeous, I suppose, as FMA. Really, it's more about the symbolism and ritual than the chemistry or genuine transmutation.

Pick your symbolism, it's all alchemy in the end, religion, magic, atheism, humanism, we all view the world through the eyes of the symbols we use to describe our world. The most powerful of all is the alchemy of the word.

Its NIETHER holy nor satanic. I don't know why Xians always seem think anything and everything that is not of thier religious cult is satanic. First off Satan ONLY belongs to the Abrahamic religions and no others. Next, MOST of Christianity was STOLEN from other, mostly PAGAN, religions. Finally who said alchemy wasn't possible? BTW: it is very cool.
