my 3 yr old nephew asked me where "burgers come from.... i dont know how to answere him..help

Just tell him that particles, like dust, are in the air and when we breathe in some of it collects in our nose. That's why we have hankies and Kleenex to help us out.
Or my sarcastic husband would tell them they are nose goblins and they are made by the monsters in your head...........

As everyone else seemed to say, just tell him that dust exc gets caught in your nose and it makes boogers. As far as burgers when I was little & asked that question my Grandmas said they wre moo burgers, and expalined they came from cows, we were eating at a fast food place one tiem and we wre in a hurry so got it to go, and i got a burger, we wre driving down the street... then I saw i herd of cows in a feild, looked at my burger and totally freaked out and thought that the cows were mad at me and even cried!! lol, cows were my favorite aninmals so I often went on strike of eating them! lol, Even now I hesitate on eating meatm I love animals, my dad said that if i became a vegan that I had to stay that way, and I have a passion for pizza and pepperonis so I still eat meat but I dont eat alot. when he asks about hamburgers call them moo burgers, lol... actually i wouldnt tell him that becaus ei totally freaked out!! lol sorry i just always liked to think back to my childhood and that story is somethin i always remember, well lol i am still achild technically i guess, im 16, but anyways, good luck.

I would take the Lion King angle and explain to him the circle of life- the food chain and so forth. You might be afraid to tell him the truth now, but will be glad you did later in life because even a 3 year old will remember later if you were honest with him when he was a child. I doubt it will even upset him but if it does it will earn you respect and trust with him later because he will know that no matter what he askes you - you will always tell the truth.
