First make sure you have the right pictures for the right room or decor.(what is the main color scheme of your room) Are the sizes of your frames congruent with the individual rooms....etc.... After deciding all the alternatives, it is important to find your particular pictures center for the that space. The general rule for height is to keep them at roughly eye level, but not in all cases, use your imagination, open up to new ideas. Now, hangers. the best I have found are made by 3m, they are little plastic hooks with a flat back where you attach a two sided adhesive tape(included) which can hold any amount of weight you desire. you can use the m in multiples for added strength or singles. they come in gvarious shapes and sizes to fit any application you might come across. But the best thing about them is you can remove them any time you like without leaving a mark on the wall.

Try to determine the themes of the rooms first. Get frames according to your themes. Try to get frames that match the designs and shades of your furniture nearby. If you have a high ceiling, vertical layout is fine. If have a low ceiling, go horizontal to be safe. if you are looking for something different and funky, go diagonal and/or out of repetition. If you have a really big picture, it is usually better by itself. Don't put any small frames next to it. Messy look is a no no. Don't tilt the frames. It doesn't look funky but funny if you do that. You can also have your frames match the architectural structure like stairs. Just be consistent. When you hang the frames, don't do it by yourself, because you can scratch your wall. You need at least two other people, one to watch and the other to help you hang. Of course, this doesn't apply if you have only small frames. Mark the spots first with a pencil before you hammer any nails. This will save your walls.

For the most part pictures must be around eye level. For heavier pictures you can use an anchor or hooks...and for the smaller ones a couple nails will do . You want to try to have them in a good focal point and do not overdo it because it will look cluttered.

It depends on the size and weight of the frame. Go to your local hardware store and ask for some advice. The salesperson will show you all your options. There are many ways to hang pics. They make special hangers for less than 3 dollars for a pack. Sometimes you can just add a screw to a stud and hang something.Good luck!

64 inches to the center line of the picture, painting, scroll, or road map is the standard regardless the height of the person or ceiling or anything else. Kidding about the road map and scroll. Hangers choice on those.

You should hang pictures at the eye level of a person who is 5'6"to5'7". Any higher is too high.
