What is the most effective way to influence people for the good? And to influence them without being to pushy or preachy, but where they will be drawn to you?

I once read somewhere, "Preach to everyone everyday, and maybe even speak to them a little about it."
Meaning, if you really want to be effective, don't speak so much as you act. If you're speaking of sharing the gospel with people, you would be most successful if you dedicated your life to doing good things, like feeding the hungry, showing love to people in one way or another, or helping seniors fix their houses. They will see that surely something is in you that makes you act this way, and they will want to know where it came from. That is the right time to tell them that you were given a gift by God to helpe people and they may or may not want to know more about God. But going around and telling them about THEIR sin is completely ineffective and actually pushes most people away unnecessarily. You can talk about your own sins. But the most important part of the whole process is DOING what they would expect from a person who has love in their heart and then going beyond what they expect. ALL THE TIME.

Set an example. When people see you going through a hard time in life and you suffer through it with peace, they will want to know how. Be patient with others, listen to them, and meet them where they are. Peace.

I can tell you one way that doesn't. Put down their culture and say we are so much better because we do this and you are whores because you don't wear a veil and you people are immoral. when we are not all immoral. That fosters real hate.

Agree with them. People love to be heard and agreed with. Don't talk too much and ask them questions, because people love to talk about themselves. Don't talk about yourself too much, and especially don't talk about how great your damn kids are, seriously nobody cares
