I was left with a friend's poodle mix and I am not sure how to take care of it. My housemate and I call him the 'party dog' because he can eat 4 pieces of pizza and lap up 2 beers in under 20 minutes. He gets respect from us for this and I cook him burritos and burgers to keep him fed. But lately he has been getting horrible bowel movements and throwing up all over himself and the yard. I cut back on the pizza on weekends and switched to low calorie TV dinners but he seems worse now. Pepto Bismol seemed to help and he doesn't vomit or go to the bathroom as much. What's wrong with party dog? Is he not getting enough grains? Should sandwiches be in his diet as well?

He's a dog and he needs DOG food! Our food isnt good for them...it doenst have all the essential stuff dogs need in it!

I hope your being honest here with the question, as I see the answer to be a no brainer.
Any dog, "party dog" or not needs dog food never human food expecially foods with spices.
If a vet didnt recommend giving the pepto bismol, why would you. Keep in mind he is a dog, not a human.
Stop feeding for 24 hours, limit water intake and let his system empty out. Then feed a small amount of dog food several times in the day to see if he is able to keep it down and if the stools are normal. Stop any and all human food and the beer. While you may think it cool and funny the dog eats like this and drinks beer, others see it as curielty and can be reported as so.
Do what is best for the dogs over all health, not for your amuzement.

Maybe try feeding the dog pet food not crap food like that. It messes with our systems never mind the poodles. Some how I think you may be joking with this question.

Okay. People food is for people, and dog food is for dogs. You don't see people eating dog food, and dogs should not eat people food!!!!! PIZZA and TV DINNERS are BAAAAAADDDDDDDDD for dogs!!!!!!! Vet now, it may have to have it's stomach pumped. DO NOT FEED DOGS PIZZA!!! IF you know ANYTHING about dogs, tomato sauce (in pizza) is HORRIBLE for dogs!! VET NOW!!!!!!!!!!! Feed the dog DOG FOOD, people eat people food, not dogs!!!

How about cruelty to animal charges? OH and in case you didn't realize if their dog dies they can sue you, you were left responsible for the dog.
