Braums used to make an awesome ice cream that was Peanut Butter Oatmeal cookie dough. I haven't been able to find it for a few years but I sure do miss it!

I have never had the ice cream without the chocolate chip before. I have had oatmeal cookie dough ice cream before. Even though I love oatmeal cookies, I still like the chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream better.

Ben and Jerry's cookie dough ice cream. No chocolate chips there and it's the very best. Good luck

I've never seen it in a grocery store, but here's a suggestion: If you have a homemade ice-cream parlor/shop near you, call them and ask them if they could make you a gallon the way you want it. It may cost a little more, but, if it gets you what you want, it's worth it.
I'm allergic to chocolate and am frustrated by the fact that 90% of ALL desserts are made with chocolate. I asked the little shop near my house to make me a special flavor last year (it was around the holidays and I wanted pumpkin-pie ice cream with bits of graham cracker crust in it), and they did. I had to buy a couple of gallons (that was the smallest batch they could make), but MAN was it good.
Your other choice would be to buy a small ice cream maker (WalMart has them) and whip up the flavors YOU want, all the time.
NOW I'M HUNGRY!!!!

I thought I was the only weird one who doesn't like choc. chips in her ice cream b/c they get hard!!! LOL!!

i'm sooo sorry for all you no longer from Texas or Louisianna, on the grounds which you at the instant are not getting the lush of having BLUEBELL ice cream. It places Bens and Jerry's to comparable..yet to reply to the question..that fudge brownie ain't too undesirable.

absolutely. there is regular cookie dough or peanut butter cookie dough or any other type you like.. if you can't find it at your grocer, go to specialty shops, or make your own and have twice the fun.

yes they do, but they are very hard 2 find. THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY serves that sometimes. I LOVE THE CHOCOLATE CHIPS!!! =p
