Whoa Honey! I'm so sorry to hear you say that! I've had that same disorder on & off all of my life & it can really f*** up your life seriously. You MUST find a sympathetic doctor who knows what going on. Your parents are making a serious mistake by discounting you Go to your County Mental Health Clinic right away & get in the system for help....no cost & really good (if a little slow), plus very strict on privacy rights & laws There is nothing wrong with using the new medications for
this horrible problem.....mine are finally working & I feel SO much bbetter. Please get help right away....don't continue to feel so miserable...I REALLY know how you fell, honey, good luck!

Your parents are simply in denial. All parents are like that when it comes to depression. You could try going to a free clinic and asking them if they know anything about getting free counselling. Your parents probably think that you are just saying you're depressed because it's some ploy to get something from them. A lot of parents are like that. Some parents also don't want to believe that THEIR children could be abnormal. Tell me what you mean by attacks... You should be able to email me.

Every state will have free mental health clinics. Look in your phone book and look up the mental health department of your state. They will be able to refer you to a clinic closest to you. Take matters into your hands and don't count on your parents. They are obviously ignorant about the seriousness of depression and anxiety. But I know that it's no joke. Do yourself a favor find help for yourself.

Just go to your doctor. He'lll examine you and see if you have all the symptoms. If you do, I don't really think you parents will argue with the doctor.
