Okay, I know this girl from one of my classes and she would flirt in very subtle ways with me. She would smile a lot and I would see her stare at me and look away when I looked back at her. She showed all the signs that she was interested.

So, I finnally asked her out to talk and get to know each other better (not really a date).

So, I call her and we decide to do dinner and she has to cancel because she has to write paper for school. I saw her writing her paper so this was a legitimate excuse.

We rescheduled again and she had to cancel again. She said she feels so bad. She didn't go into too many details, but suggested that we meet on Monday or Tuesday and for me to call her.

What do you'll think?? Am I wasting my time? I really like her and she seems like a good match for me. She seemed very interested in me and flirted (staring, excessive smiling, trying to sit by me, talking to me when we run into each other, etc)

Her smile is one of those "ear to ear" smiles. She also tries to sit near me in class.

Girls can be diificult to read. The best thing for you to do is go staright up and ask her if she is even interested coz you are starting to feel that she is not from her actions.
The worst she can say is no and hopefully you can respect that and just be friends with her if she is a great person.
The smile is normal coz I do it alot but the staring might be a sign that she is interested. So its hard to say.

How old are you guys? Sometime at certain age people like the idea or romance but are scared. Maybe she really did have an excuse. Maybe she's scared.

WAIT for her to make the next move. LEt her ask you out.

Wait till next week. If nothing happens and she keeps making excuses it's a sure sign that she either got cold feet or she's playing you for a fool.
