No... because I am of The True Christian Faith, and no one of The Faith will ever die.... I am however subject to the same mortal fears as any other... I do, and most I have talked to about it within The Faith do, have a fear of the mortal process of the end of this mortal body... But that which is me will never die... of that I am certain... and I know for certain where I will be spending eternity.

No, I don't think I'm afraid to die. I'm afraid of the MANNER in which I'll die - I have a fear of drowning, and some long-term diseases scare me (Dementia where you may have a relatively sound body but an unsound mind, or something like Parkinson's where you may have a sharp mind trapped in a debilitated body).
And I worry about the people who will be left behind when I die, but as far as fearing dying or the afterlife (whatever it may be)? No, not really. Death is an inevitable part of the Cycle.

No not afraid of dying. More afraid of a painful suffering death. Also leaving behind loved ones makes me very sad at the thought of it. But if you think about it .....We are all dieing once we are born. That's when the dieing process begins.

Well if it is a violent death, it would be painful and scary.
If it would be in your sleep, even scarier.
By cancer even scarier.
Heart attack, scarier.
Thats why we should have no choice but to be good people and understand ourselves better as humans.
Death is scary because lets say you go to the doctor and he tells you you have 3 months to live, what the fcuk are you going to do!! Just thinking your brain will anytime feel pain or stop and get cold and you can't breathe (hold your breath for long) it hurts. What if death means eternal pain until the point where you learn to "live" with it! YES death is scary. Certain deaths are more scarier than others. But sometimes it also scares me to know there is an afterlife. Would I really want to live life again in the afterlife for eternity, what have I to learn in the afterlife that I haven't already learned while living on earth???
Knowone will even remember you died, thats the scary thing!!

Yes, when it comes right down to it don't you honestly believe most people are? We are afraid of the unknown and I think most of us are hoping that there is something good waiting for us.
At least that's what I'd like to think. I'm not so sure if the dying is what scares me the most, I think the "how" might be a bit more terrifying!

I'm not afraid to die, but I am afraid of the possible pain involved. I am confident that there is eternal life waiting for those who believe in Christ. Many ask, how do you know for sure? You don't! That if what faith is all about, believeing in that which you cannot see. Personally, I look forward to being with my lord.

When one becomes self realized they are not afraid of death because they understand that they are not thees bodies. They understand they are spirit soul and they do not die just the body dies. Their soul goes on to its next destination. One should not commit suicide because then they will remain in a miserable condition of a ghost body which is stuck until the actual time they where supposed to die naturally. (then they get a chance but it is generally difficult to get out of that situation because of attachment. Go to www.stephen-knapp.com for more info

No, I'm not afraid to die, becuase I know it's something that will happen to everyone.... I'm only concerned with two things:
1) How am I going to die... (and only God knows)
2) Would I be able to answer God's questions properly on Judgment Day

It's not so much as to being afraid to die, as to how you are going to die. I would be terrified of a painful, long lasting type of death. If I went in my sleep or very suddenly, then I would not be afraid to die.

I'm not afraid to die but the way that I die does honestly give me
concern. My husband died of lung cancer(smoking) and he
suffered terribly.I too have a severe illness so naturally I think
about this.I know that I believe in GOD, and will when I die I
will be with him!!
