I had asked everyone earlier to name a burger made from a specific meat...Rabbit...There were many good answers to choose from and the Two that were the most appealing to me ... Hassen Burgers and Coney Burgers....two names that doesnt bring the cute wittle wabbit effect to the surface...My question is, if your best friend told you they just ate at this resturant that sold Hassen Burgers, and the burgers were more filling,, tastes way better than the normal everyday franchise burger, better than chicken or beef and cost around the same price...Would you try it once, or would you refuse to eat it because it just isnt what you are used to?

Haha NO I was brave once and tried venison which I had never tried before. My ex told me it was the best tasting stuff around and that it tastes just like beef. BUT when I took a bite I had to spit it back out and run for the bathroom. It was not great tasting and it did not taste just like beef it taste horrible. No way would I try any other kind of meat besides Chicken Turkey and Beef

When I was in Spain once there was a vender who sold very good "hamburgers"... I was in the navy and most of the guys had eaten the "hamburgers"... one day there was no line at the cart so I went down to buy some for the gang on the bridge... the guard on the pier stopped me and told me that the vendor was still legal but that it had been learned that the "hamburges" were mostly cat meat... But since they were such good burgers most still went ahead and bought them... I just added a bit more mustard to mine... The next time we pulled in he was still in business and did a booming business in his great catburgers

I would try it once, as you never know if you like something new unless you risk it.

I have tried Roasted Rabbit with olives and an extra virgin olive oil Garlic sauce at the Stinking Rose in San Francisco. It was a bit gamey to me, but then I prefer chicken. lol

I would prefer that they just told me straight out what was in it, rabbit tastes great for the record......more people should try it, and as for there being a humane factor.....deal with it....people will eat anything to survive when they are hungry.....how do you think our ancestors survived most of the time?

Sure! I'd try it! What the heck. My husband's had rabbit. It's just a gamey meat, probably like ostrich or buffalo. It's a red meat.

I would totally try it. I love trying new foods, even though I don't like many that I try. Rabbit meat is good though. So is deer...nothing quite as good as a good deer burger.
