I don't know why, in this day and age of herpes, warts, AIDS/ HIV, and a host of other STD's, people are having sex without any commitment, screwing "friends with benefits", cheating on each other, expecting to get laid by the 3rd date, and having zero regard for their own physical and emotional well-being.

It is between both people, but it is a great idea. It is your life you are dealing with, or a life long disease that you may have to explain to later partners if it didn't work out with that partner. People should be honest from the get go. I know there are some who are not and those people who probably do not even know that they have anything. It will give you a piece of mind and your partner too.

i could be very offended if some guy stated that to me. From the beginning up you ought to be employing condoms besides. Then after a volume of time, ought to you desire to apply yet another style of birth control then via all ability sit down together with her, have a communication approximately it and how you the two sense and then propose you the two take a std try. regardless of the undeniable fact which you have been in charge i think you have been alao somewhat tactless and no ask your self she ran a mile.

I think people should get tested regularly, esp if they are not with the same partner for a period of time...and use condoms unless they are in a long term relationship with someone they know is "clean"

Well I've been tested for STDs and HIV and they're all negative. It's a good idea to get you and your partner tested....but some people don't care or think they're not at risk.

I think that sex has been stolen from our generation by the religious right and the sexual revolution.

Our parents have robbed us of a comfortable future. We should not have to be treated like lab rats.

The problem is liars. People who are honest about their sex lives can be trusted.

there is protection guys can use that will protect both in a couple... condoms.... i would agree with you completly if it's un-protected sex, but with the use of a condom, the begining should be fine... if it's going to be a long term relationship, once it starts, use a condom all the time till both get tested... then you can go without (with a higher chance of pregnancy...
