According to Orson Pratt
(September 19, 1811 – October 3, 1881) was a leader in the Latter Day Saint movement and an original member of the Quorum of Twelve Apostles.)
in his writings "The Pre-Existence of Man" The Seer 1 (September 1853)
He wrote that

"the person of our Father in Heaven was begotten on a previous heavenly world by His Father; and again, He was begotten by still more ancient Father; and so on, from generation
to generation, from one heavenly world to another still more ancient, untill our minds are wearied and lost in the multiplicty of generations and successive worlds. "

Since the LDS teach that the universe never had a beginning in time, this view implies that there are an infinite number of mormon gods, each one whom had another god as his father. The particular God who is the god of our earth is just one link in an infinite chain of mormon gods

Was he a false teacher

I am not bashing mormons. they can be really wonderfull people. BUT even nice wonderful people can be wrong. I just ask that the mormons really study and see your own history. BUY books on what others are saying. if I may suggest a book.

merely placed, they do. As yet another stated, those recommendations (no longer Mormons scriptures) you quote would not state that God and Mary had intercourse or that Mary became no longer a virgin. they only state that she concieved of a baby and gave beginning as the different organic lady might provide, purely God became the daddy. Ask any Mormon, it extremely is i'm hoping the place absolutely everyone might flow to be attentive to what Mormons have self assurance, and that they're going to inform you Mary became a virgin. God bless.

All that is saying is we believe there are other gods and other worlds...that does not mean we worship any OTHER God besides our Heavenly Father. We also recognize Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
You are trying to twist what was said by Orson Pratt, my relative!

We do believe there are other worlds that OUR Heavenly Father has also created, not just our earth...

******It is interesting that YOU, who I am guessing is NOT MORMON, is TELLING us what WE believe or don't. So, I am not a Jew, but maybe I should go tell them what they believe and see if it works?

We believe in God the Eternal Father, in His son Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost. Jesus taught us to pray to the Father and to give Him the Glory.

We have been given teachings that explain eternal principles, but it has no bearing on our worship.

Was Jesus human? Did he have a divine Father? Is he divine with a resurrected body? Was He an example of this eternal principle?

I've seen you enough on this board to notice that you have only been interested in bashing responses, and don't really want to know the real answer about our beliefs.

I'll keep an eye on you, and if you ever select a real answer as a "best answer" I'll start responding to your questions again. Until then, it's time for me to say goodbye to you.

So long, and God Bless.

mormons are just another sect of christianity they believe in jesus and read the same bible as all the other sects do so if they have anything wrong with there belief leave it alone its not like they did anything worse than what christianity has already done in the history of its religion. there are 34,000 different sects of christianity world wide today and that in it self is a joke because all 34,000 sects still believe in Jesus as the redemer and savior of the christian people. they all read the same bible just about some dont teach certian books of the bible.

You do not need an answer, all you ever do is use this opportunities to spread your twisted thoughts.

Have your parents ever teach you about "talking nice" , instead of bad mouthing others.

By the way, taking statement out of context looks very dumb.
We know what we believe. Not what you say we believe.

One last thing, I will also ignore your future questions, so
enjoy your self as you please. Good Bye.

There are many fathers, but I have only one father. I have only one God even though there are many gods. What is so hard to believe about that?

you asked if he was a false teacher, the answer is no. We do not believe in the "Big Bang" theory. if you want to know in detail what I believe go to http://www.lds.org I have no desire to explain it to you, I do not argue, I know what I believe and why I believe it, if you choose to investigate it more that is up to you, just do me a favor, stop bashing, it helps no one, not even you.

Yes.

The teachings of mormonism are not consistent with the Bible. It is that simple. The Bible says God is immortal, the creator of the universe and everything in it, and was before all things.
