You say, “I lost my best friend…” Meaning that she was your best friend. Point is, were you her best friend??? Now if you both were each other’s best friends…then you have not lost her, look in your heart she will be hiding somewhere in there…sulking, crying, angry or whatever depending on what happened between you two. Find her, if it was your fault “BE SORRY” note I said be sorry, I did not say…”SAY SORRY”. Comfort her, reassure her, etc.

I think we need more details.
But, If it is your fault, have you done all that you can to gain her friendship back in a sincere way? If it is her fault is she really your friend? Either way, it takes time for a person to process whats going on in their life. But then again, in life you will gain and lose friends. Its reality.

i dont know what her situation may be, but there is no better way to get a friend back than by understanding her. try to get her to open up. if she does not than keep trying. and dont ever give up on her.

Need more information....how did you lose her? What do you think you did to make you think so? Best friends are usually a lot easier to stay that way than sometimes a casual friendship. Please give details.

Your best friend is a girl?
Are you gay or are you just trying to get in her pants?

First question is how did you lose her in the first place. If you did something wrong or stupid, try apologizing. If she was your friend, she should forgive you.

Try talking to her. Be very honest and sincere. Be low key, and above all else let her know that you are sorry she has gone.
